| Notes | ||
| This concert was organised by Bob Maltz, who had just founded the New York Jazz Club. The concert also featured Leadbelly, on guitar, piano and vocals. It was a rather disorganised affair and to some extent it is uncertain which musicians play on which title. The band and Huddie Ledbetter play only one title (Good Morning Blues) together. | ||
| This session was originally recorded for the New York Town Hall Administration on eighteen 12" acetates. It was first issued on White Label (E) 102 (on 2 LP's) by Barry Martyn. | ||
| New Orleans Rarities were all pirated white label double LP's released by Keith Smith. | ||
| New Orleans Rarities #3 and White Label (E) 102 are 2LP sets. | ||
| On the introduction blues Omer Simeon plays the first clarinet solo and Edmond Hall the second. | ||
| Danny Barker plays banjo in Jazz Me Blues and Ja Da. He is not audible on all titles listed. | ||
| On Document DOCD-5666 the last tune "Blues", with Alberta Price singing, is called "Tell Me Baby". | ||
| On AMCD-46 a lot of talking between the songs has been edited out. | ||
