| Notes | ||
| American Music 101 – 103 were issued in album called ‘New Orleans Parade’. | ||
| A 4th Baby Dodds LP was planned for issue with a 16mm movie accompaniment. A master tape was prepared but the records was never pressed. | ||
| The first pressing of of Folkways FP57 did not have matrix 898 on it, but had a title by the Original Zenith Brass Band. Later pressings substituted the Bunk’s Brass Band title. Some copies have the Bunk title but the label still has the OZBB listed. | ||
| The Folkway FJ number are re-packings of earlier FP series with the same notes on the cover. | ||
| The Columbia C3130 and JC3130 are both 3LP boxed sets with individual record No’s CL2102/3/4 and JCL2102/3/4 respectivily. At least the former were also sold separately. | ||
| Master 898 was issued on the Pogo Plattan as one of nine musical illustrations to Swedish poetry. | ||
| The Fallen Heroes Book CD accompanied Richard H. Knowles' book titled "Fallen Heroes" (Jazzology Press 1996). | ||
| Happy Birthday To You was never intended for release. It was just a tribute to Gene Williams who had his birthday this day. On Dan Records VC7023 it is mentioned as master 910. | ||
| The whole session was "dedicated to the memory of Hoyte D. Kline". | ||
| Murray & Hill 927942 is a 5-LP box entitled "Collector's History of Classic Jazz". It includes one more title with Bunk: "Mama's Gone Goodbye", rec. 440711. | ||
| The interview of 1943-05-07 (Bunk talking about 'Funeral Parades') was dubbed in as background music with excerpts of master 894 "When The Saints", master 902 "Nearer My God To Thee" and master 900 "Just A Little While Tot Stay Here". Storyville SLP 202 includes a much longer excerpt of master 902 than American Music LP 643 and Dan VC7011. | ||
| On some issues master 894 is two times on the record: one time complete and a second time as an excerpt dubbed in the interview of 1943-05-07 (Bunk talking about 'Funeral Parades'). | ||
