| Just A Closer Walk With Thee | Not issued | |
| Notes | ||
| - This recording session was initiated by the Office Of War as background music for a film about the visit of 8 members (including Jean-Paul Sartre) of the French Resistance to New Orleans. | ||
| - Abbie Williams was invited as replacement for Baby Dodds. There was poor documentation about the recording session and consequently the drummer was mentioned wrongly as Kid Collins on old LP's. | ||
| - The Metronomes were issued in Album No.5 as ‘ With Bunk Johnson In New Orleans’. The session was filmed by the Office Of War Information. The Riverside SDP11 is a 5LP boxed set with booklet,but the records were also sold separately ubder the No.’s RLP12-112 thru 12-116. | ||
| - Riverside VDJ-1575 is named "History of Classic Jazz". | ||
| - Prestige 3PCD-2301-2 is in a 3-CD album titled "The Jazz Trumpet". | ||
| - The last title is listed in most discographies as "Sister Kate". According to an interview in Footnote Vol 15 #6 with Gus Statiras the title should be "Just A Closer Walk With Thee". | ||
| - On DOCD-1010 the recording date is incorrectly given as 17 feb 1945. | ||
